Lia Wälti is a professional football player, captain of the Swiss national team, and a leading figure in women’s football. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Business Administration.
At WNXT, she brings her experience from professional sport and media to support the agency’s strategic positioning.
She is committed to strengthening the visibility and growth of women’s football and to empowering the next generation of athletes. In 2025, she published the children’s book Lia’s Football Journey.
Meret Wälti
Meret Wälti is an ex-footballer, anthropologist and author. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Anthropology and a Master’s degree in Feminist Peace Politics.
At WNXT, she supports the athletes and is responsible for media and communication, helping shape their public presence and positioning.
Meret is committed to social justice, gender equality, and female entrepreneurship, and is the author of the children’s book Lia’s Football Journey, which encourages girls to believe in their dreams.
Salomé Barrer is an ex-footballer and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Business Administration and has professional experience across different industries.
At WNXT, she oversees partnerships, finances, and administration, ensuring that collaborations and operations run professionally and reliably.
Passionate about brands and marketing, Salomé is committed to strengthening the presence of women in sport through strong campaigns and partnerships.
Together with Lia, Salomé created and curated the Instagram fan page Lia’s Switzerland in 2025.
