Amira (Ami) Arfaoui, born on 8 August 1999 and raised in Bern, began her professional career in 2017 with BSC Young Boys, where she gained her first experience at the highest level in Switzerland. This was followed by stops at FC Basel and Servette FC Chênois Féminin, where she continued to develop and took on greater responsibility. In 2021, she made the move to the German Women’s Bundesliga, joining Bayer Leverkusen, and subsequently continued her international career at 1. FC Nürnberg. She has been under contract with Werder Bremen since 2024, where she impresses with her intensity, her running ability and her tactical discipline.
Amira Arfaoui has already brought energy, presence and versatility to the Swiss national team on several occasions. She can play in various positions and stands out for her strength in one-on-one situations, her determination and her willingness to take on responsibility.
