As a former footballer, Carmen Aeberhardt, born on 15 April 1994 in Kirchberg, brings a deep understanding of the game to bear, which she now successfully applies in her role as a referee. In a field where women remain significantly under-represented, she holds her own with clarity, presence and professional expertise. She works for the Swiss Football Association, where she is involved both on the pitch and in the development of refereeing.
A particular focus for Carmen Aeberhardt is supporting the next generation of female referees. She is actively committed to inspiring young women to take on this role, raising their profile and guiding them along their journey.
