Sarina Fux is the most successful Swiss kickboxer of her generation. As a world champion (2025 WAKO World Championships in Abu Dhabi), seven-time Swiss champion, international titleholder, and top athlete of the Swiss Kickboxing Association (WAKO), she has made a significant impact on Swiss kickboxing far beyond the ring.

Born in St. Niklaus (VS) on August 4, 1997, and a resident of Bern for the past ten years, Sarina didn’t start practicing martial arts until she was 18 – today she trains at the Fusion Academy Bern and ranks among the world’s best in light contact (Kick Light). In addition to her 80-percent position at Sensopro, she trains up to 20 hours a week. Her achievements include six national titles, four European Cup victories, five World Cup titles, and a bronze medal at the 2022 European Championships in Turkey—crowned by the 2025 world championship title (Kick Light -55 kg) as an impressive comeback following a torn cruciate ligament.

In addition to her athletic career, Sarina masterfully balances her job and her intense training regimen. In light-contact kickboxing, elements of boxing are combined with techniques from karate or taekwondo on mats – in contrast to full-contact kickboxing in the ring. She shares training tips on social media and inspires others with her story of rising from a girl from Valais to a world champion.

Sarina Fux is down-to-earth, warm-hearted, and highly motivated. “I just always want to give it my all,” she emphasizes, using her platform to promote discipline, mental resilience, and work-life balance.
