Smilla (Smilly) Vallotto, born on 23 March 2004 in Geneva and raised in Stavanger (NOR), began her sporting career in Norway. Between 2021 and 2023, she played for Stabæk in Norway, where she developed her skills in a physically and tactically demanding environment. From 2023 to 2025, she was under contract with Hammarby IF in Sweden, where she impressed with her intensity, dynamism and footballing intelligence. Since 2025, she has been playing for VfL Wolfsburg, competing at the highest international level in one of Europe’s strongest leagues.
Smilla Vallotto is also a key player in the Swiss national team. She brings pace, aggression and plenty of energy to the game and isn’t afraid to take on responsibility. Her presence on the pitch is characterised by a willingness to run, courage and emotional intensity – she is a real bundle of energy who can make a difference in matches.
Off the pitch, Smilla Vallotto is an extroverted, articulate and multilingual personality. She speaks French, Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish and English and moves effortlessly between different cultures.
